2026-2027 FALL/WINTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Financial Assistance

Families eligible for financial assistance for skating lessons MUST email a copy of their certificate to cpa.stlaurent@gmail.com at least 3 days before registration opens.

Please note: Financial assistance discounts do not apply to Spring or Summer sessions.

Family Discount
  • $15 discount for the second family member registered in the same transaction.
  • $20 discount for the third family member and each additional family member registered in the same transaction.

Important: Family discounts apply only when all family members are registered in a single transaction. No adjustments will be made afterward.

Wait Lists

All sessions remain visible, even when they are full. If a session is full, you may add your name to the waiting list.

Registration Process

Please be patient during registration. The system may run more slowly when many users are registering at the same time.

  • You will have a minimum of 15 minutes to complete your registration.
  • There is no need to rush.
  • Please read and accept all club policies before finalizing your registration.
Review Your Registration

Once your registration is complete, please review your invoice and calendar to ensure that all selected sessions are listed correctly.

Group Lessons

CanSkate / Adult In-Lesson Option

Skaters may supplement their CanSkate or Adult group program by registering for a private or semi-private lesson.Ice Fee Supplement Only Resident: +$35    Non-Resident: +$50

 

Important

  • You must arrange and confirm your coach BEFORE registering.
  • Please refer to the List of Coaches for available coaches.
  • Coaching fees are additional and paid directly to the coach.
  • Registration changes resulting from failure to confirm coach availability may be subject to administrative fees.
  • Your CanSkate or Adult group session must be added to your cart before adding an In-Lesson session.

Note: Skaters who have not yet completed CanSkate Badge 5 must leave the ice immediately following their lesson.

(1)  A family rebate of $15 will be deducted from your invoice if a 2nd family member is registered on the same invoice. An additional rebate of $20 will be deducted from your invoice for the 3rd family member and each subsequent family member registers on the same invoice. Please note that no adjustments will be made to provide a family rebate if the registrations are not performed on the same transaction.  

Private Ice

Private Ice Option

(Sessions listed below are for the purchase of ice time only.)

Skaters who have achieved CanSkate Badge 5 or higher may register for private training sessions.Prior to registration:
  • Parents and skaters must arrange a coach. List of coaches
  • Coach availability must be confirmed.
  • A training schedule should be established before registering.
Lessons may be:
  • Individual
  • Shared by 2-3 skaters
Important
  • Ice fees cover ice time only.
  • Coaching fees are paid directly to the coach
  • Skaters are encouraged to coordinate schedules with other families/friends whenever possible.

 Private Session Requirements

  • Minimum registration: 2 sessions
  • ESSENTIAL SKILLS is not included

Registration Limits

Each skater may register for a maximum of:

4 sessions total
  • Private
  • Group
  • Development
If more than 4 eligible sessions are selected:
  • All affected sessions will appear in red.
  • Excess sessions must be removed before checkout.

If a session is full, join the waiting list.

Essential Skills

A group class focused on the development of figure skating skills.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

Administrative Fees

Session Changes

  • Within 24 hours of registration: $5
  • After 24 hours and before September 3: $10
  • After September 3: $25

Adding a Session (after original registration has been completed)

  • $25 administrative fee

Refunds, Credits and Make-Up Classes

No credits, refunds, or make-up classes will be provided for:

  • Missed classes
  • Missed sessions
  • Arena closures
  • Special events
  • Sanitation measures
  • Force majeure events

Group Lesson Policy

No credits or make-up classes for:

  • CanSkate Group Classes
  • Essential Skills
  • STAR Group Classes
  • Adult Group Classes
  • Development

Patch Policy

A skater may skate on a session for which they are not registered only by purchasing a patch, provided space is available.

  • No credits for missed sessions.
  • Patches are available only if the session is not full.

Session Policy

Sessions cannot be exchanged or substituted. If a skater wishes to skate another session:

  • A patch must be purchased.
  • If the session is full, no patch can be purchased, even if another skater is absent.

Our club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers who ensure the club is managed in accordance with the regulations and policies of Skate Canada

REGISTRATION

You are responsible to provide copies of all updated information via email (cpa.stlaurent@gmail.com) 48 houres BEFORE registration:
  • Borough issued documents for Low-income families wishing to benefit from a discount. (Fall-Winter session only)
The Saint Laurent issued Carte Loisirs is mandatory for the creation and update of any skater account. The Saint Laurent borough carte loisir system is not linked to the club registration system. Parents must submit a copy of any update to the club a minimum of 48 hours prior to the registration. Registrations which have been completed without providing the mandatory documents and a confirmation of the account update will not receive the associated discounts. In accordance with the borough policies, no adjustments will be issued once the registration has been finalized by the account holder.
