Saint-Laurent FSC
Welcome to the Saint-Laurent figure skating club. We are dedicated to serving a community of young figure skating enthousiasts with enriching skating programs and interesting activities. We are proud to say that our non-profit organisation is entirely managed by a committee of volunteers dedicated to the community. Our club looks to encourage, further, and promote interest, participation, teaching, development, enjoyment and promotion of figure skating.
We are among the largest skating clubs in the Lac St Louis region established in 1974. We have been teaching skills, technique and sportsmanship to all levels of skaters in our community for over 40 years. We offer a dynamic and comprehensive range of programs year-round – from learn to skate to recreational and competitive figure skating. Our 525+ members range in age from 5 to adult. Our club promotes camaraderie, athleticism and spirited competition, but more importantly, focuses on developing skaters who are able to set goals and inspire others, while increasing responsibility, cooperation and respect for themselves and others.
Without the help and support of our invaluable volunteers, we would not have a club. Our club relies heavily on volunteers who selflessly give their time to run the club on a daily basis and to organize events for the success of the club and its skaters. Every year there are a number of volunteer opportunities through the club. The volunteer work is essential to the quality and success of our club, and to your child's experience here. Prior experience is not required. Volunteering in the Club is a great opportunity to learn about the sport of figure skating and how the club runs, as well as a fun way to meet other Club members and have a good time while helping out.
