Fall 2021
CanSkate, PreJunior and Adult lessons will only be offered Winter 2022 once we return to the Raymond Bourque Arena.
Registration for the Fall 2021 session is only possible for those skaters who registered during the Fall-Winter 2019-2020 season in PRIVATE lessons (i.e. STAR). Please do not forget to review the general information. Click here if you missed reading this page.
Please read the documents highlighted in blue referenced on the Policy page. link: Policy Page The completed and signed forms: COVID Acknowledgement of risk and Medical Information Form must be uploaded with your registration. You can submit the Pre-Season Concussion Education Resource Acknowledgement Sheet at the time of registration or have until Nov 1, 2021 to submit to the attention of: cpastl.secretaire@gmail.com.
As of September 1, 2021, the Quebec government requires participants 13 years and older to have a vaccine passport or present a signed certificate of medical contraindication to vaccination of the COVID 19 vaccine to be allowed to participate in the following activities: Figure skating in singles, with a partner and in a group.
General Information
- The carte loisirs (beginning with 12777) is mandatory and must be valid until October 2021. You can obtain a new or renewed card at the Centre des Loisirs (1375 rue Grenet), the sports complexe or the library.
- Exceptionnally for the Winter 2022 season the club uniform will not be mandatory for the CanSkate groups (not inlcuded in the registration fee). Try ons are not possible.
- Girls: skirt, tights, sweatshirt ($55)
- Boys: sweatshirt ($20); no jeans
- CSA approved hockey helmet is required for all skaters until the skater receives Badge 5 (adults included)
- Supportive Skates of good quality
- Skate Guards
- Gloves. Please wash and dry gloves and any articles of clothing which may have a risk of contamination before each class.
All families who are eligible for financial assistance for their skating lessons MUST forward a copy of the certificate by email (cpa.stlaurent@gmail.com) 48 hours before registration. Please note that the financial assistance discount does not apply for the spring or summer sessions.
PRIVATE: Please ensure that you have consulted with your coach and have confirmed your ice time selection before completing your registration. Course fees are payable directly to your coach.
For the Fall 2021 season, a modest flat fee of $50 will be charged irrespective of the number of sessions the skater choses to register for. The sessions identified as "Group" are subsidized by the club. There are no fees associated with this selection. The club will assign a variety of instructors to these sessions. Please note that if a skater cannot register for a full session, those skaters who have the greatest number of sessions will be requested to give up their space on the last sessions they have registered for. Please select the sessions you wish to register in by order of preference.

Lesson fees are not included and are payable directly to the coach.
(1) Each skater may register for as many sessions as they wish for the Fall 2021 season. Please note that if a skater cannot register for a full session, those skaters who have the greatest number of sessions will be requested to give up their space on the last sessions they have registered for. Please select the sessions you wish to register in by order of preference.
(2) Please note that all sessions will remain visible even if the course if full. You will have the option to place the name of the skater on the waiting list.
(3) Please remain take your time to complete your registration, the system may slow down slightly if every tries to register at the same time. It is not necessary to rush to complete the registration. You have at least 15 minutes to complete the registration once the items are placed in your basket. Do not forget that you must have read and accepted all the associated policies (*).
(4) Please review your file to ensure that you have completed the registration. All the sessions you have picked will appear in your calendar and will also appear on the invoice which will be immediately visible in your account.
(5) If you experience any difficulties, please immediately send an email to the club or attempt to use the chat feature, please include a brief summary of the difficulties you are experiencing and if possible any screen shots. We will attempt to respond in a timely fashion.
Administrative
- The CPA Saint-Laurent is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal articles nor any accidents, which may happen during the off-ice or on ice sessions. The participants are responsible to maintain their personal training equipment.
- To obtain the maximum discount, registrations MUST be completed in a single transaction. Multiple transactions will not benefit from the discounted rate.
- Requests for adjustments will not be accepted once the transaction has been finalized by the registrant.
- A fee of $10 will apply for all requests made to change sessions.
- A fee of $25 will apply for all requests made to add sessions.
- Cancellations or special events associated with arena activities are not eligible for session replacement or reimbursement.
- The club reserves the right to make adjustments to the groups where necessary.
Private: A skater cannot skate in a session in which he or she has not registered. Credits or replacement sessions are not possible for missed sessions. Skating patches cannot be offered for this season
