STAR Test Coach Assessments

Only for current CPA Saint Laurent members

Skate Canada has been charging $12 for STAR test fees. Beginning August 1, 2026, all tests submitted to Skate Canada will be charged $15.

To help manage this transition for our club volunteers, we have established a deadline of July 20, 2026 at 8:00 p.m., until which we will accept the $12 payment for STAR tests. This cut-off is necessary to allow volunteers enough time to upload completed tests to skaters’ profiles and ensure submissions are processed before August 1, 2026.

If you purchase a test ticket at the $12 rate but submit it after the deadline and we are unable to process it before the Skate Canada change, an additional fee of $3 will be applied.

 

Parents & Skaters:

The coaches will contact you when your child is eligible for an assessment.  They may do one or more assessments during a week.  You must purchase the assessment fee of $15 BEFORE your child's assessment day. 

STAR Coach Assessments include Skills, Freeskate, Artistic and Dance.

STAR Assessment Fees will be paid online. 

One ticket will need to be purchased per assessment. Tickets will be $15.00 each ($15.00 per assessment). Payment must be made by credit card.

You will have to select the name of the skater for each ticket. Once you have purchased your ticket(s) please print them off and provide to your coach for each assessment.

You may proceed directly to checkout, or you may continue adding another STAR Assessment for the same skater or for another skater.

Centralized STAR Assessment (STAR 6 - GOLD FS, Dance / STAR GOLD Skills) registration and payments are managed by the Lac St Louis Region.  Your coach will inform you when to register via your SPLEX account.

REGISTRATION

You are responsible to provide copies of all updated information via email (cpa.stlaurent@gmail.com) 48 houres BEFORE registration:
  • Borough issued documents for Low-income families wishing to benefit from a discount. (Fall-Winter session only)
The Saint Laurent issued Carte Loisirs is mandatory for the creation and update of any skater account. The Saint Laurent borough carte loisir system is not linked to the club registration system. Parents must submit a copy of any update to the club a minimum of 48 hours prior to the registration. Registrations which have been completed without providing the mandatory documents and a confirmation of the account update will not receive the associated discounts. In accordance with the borough policies, no adjustments will be issued once the registration has been finalized by the account holder.
